The second conference Deltas in Times of Climate Change 2014 is all about sharing ideas, knowledge and expertise. Get social and interact with us and other participants before the conference has even started.
You can follow worldwide delta news, relevant climate change research results and developments as well as updates in the conference programme by following our twitter @climatedelta.
You can also ask us questions via direct reply (use @) or personal message. Use the hashtag #climatedelta14 when you tweet about the conference.
Exhibition and session promotion during the conference
Of course you want to attract the right people to your exhibition, poster or session: scientists, practitioners, policy makers and politicians that can contribute to your session and with whom you can exchange knowledge, ideas and solutions.
At the entrance of the conference venue a digital message board can broadcast your session to all participants. You can give input for this message at the registration desk.
Have you also considered the endless range of possibilities social media offers you in promoting your poster, exhibition or session before and during Deltas in Times of Climate Change II?
You are invited to promote your event:
- Twitter: using twitter hashtag #climatedelta14. Tweets with this hashtag will be shown all day on large message boards across the conference venue. Tweets are monitored by the conference's social media team and regularly retweeted by the conference twitter account @climatedelta
- Facebook: the facebook event page can be accessed by searching for ‘Deltas in Times of Climate Change II’ on facebook or using the shortlink http://on.fb.me/1nvsl9I. You can post information on sessions you organise including links to the conference's facebook event page
- LinkedIn: you can find our LinkedIngroup by searching for ‘Deltas in Times of Climate Change II’ on LinkedIn or using the shortlink http://linkd.in/1mp5TiT
If you have any questions, tips for our social media news feed or need help promoting your event through social media or the message board, don’t hesitate to contact the Media Coordinator during the conference.
